pirate radio
stephen and i rented pirate radio on monday and just LOVED it! have you seen this movie? it is by the same folks who did one of my all-time favorites, love actually. described as "the irreverent yet fact-based tale of a seafaring band of rogue rock and roll deejays whose 'pirate radio' captivated and inspired 1960s Britain," it was a film that hit home for me and touched my musical soul. plus you can't beat the rad soundtrack!
if you haven't seen it, i highly recommend.
what about y'all? seen any good movies lately? i usually have at least one big movie night a week, so i'm always looking for something new and exciting!

How funny, it's called The Boat That Rocked over here in the UK! I love different names for the same films...Haven't seen it but really want to.

AH! Brilliant, because lately I've been itching when it comes to renting movies, picking out all the things I don't actually want to watch. And Love Actually happens to be one of my favorites, ever, too. Oh yes, this is good, thank you!
Old news, but I watched Fargo for the first time ever last week, it was good. And, uh... It's Complicated was pretty cute in that overdone romantic comedy blockbuster sort of way - I just happen to adore Steve Martin, so any movie he's in is *good*. Other than that, I'm lagging in all the new releases, got to catch up!
